Safe Yakima Valley works with our local schools to provide drug-free education and resources. We're working with our community to give today's youth (tomorrow's leaders) real opportunities to choose a healthy, drug-free path forward.

Empowering Youth Through Mentorship

Our mentorship program connects community members with youth to support their personal development, build confidence, and create lasting relationships. Research shows that mentored youth are 46% less likely to start using illegal drugs and 27% less likely to start drinking compared to their peers without mentors.
