Positive Ticketing
Positive Ticketing is an initiative by Safe Yakima Valley that rewards and reinforces positive behavior among youth while also building relationships with law enforcement. School security staff distribute “positive tickets” to students who demonstrate positive actions, such as following school rules, helping others, or making healthy choices. These tickets can then be turned in for prizes!
Mission
The goal of positive ticketing is to build trust between youth and authority figures, encourage positive lifestyle choices, and create a culture of recognition and encouragement in the community.

Positive Ticketing is Evidence-Based
